Knitting sailors hats at the market

On my way to buy vegetables at the open air market, I was surprised to find this woman, knitting with 4 needles, between the jams, confiture and Thai food.
I asked her about it and she proudly presented the finished product, which she called a sailors hat and the purpose of the 4 needles is not to show any seams.
She also pointed to the vegetable stand across the way, whose men are the proud owners of her handmade hats. Because we are having a warm spring, however, they were not wearing them. I will be back ...

Breien lijkt terug in de mode te zijn bij een ietwat jonger publiek :-)
Deze dame mag fier zijn over haar werk.
